If you want a date, whatever you do, don’t call her sexy.
Women are more likely to ignore comments about their looks but will respond to questions about their interests, according to an analysis of 500,000 inquiry messages from OKCupid, a dating site.

Grammar also counts, as women are less likely to respond to “your pretty” than “you’re pretty.”
The top lines to get a response indicate that you are curious about her interests. Almost 50 percent will respond to a message including the phrases “you mention”, more than 45 percent will respoond to “noticed that” and “good taste,” and over 40 percent respond to “curious what” and “you name.”
The conclusions of the analysis:
The lesson: Treat a woman (on the OK Cupid dating site) like a human being and she will respond positively.
Amazing that we still need studies to tell us this.
