Pointy Boobs Are Back!

marilynMarilyn Monroe would be proud.

Sales of pointy boobed bras have gone up 33% for some products and apparently this trend shows “a desire to celebrate women’s curves”. Does this mean that skinny models are out and plus size models are in?

The bad news is this means the economy is in the can!

Fashion designers like Louise Goldin and Jean Paul Gaultier are bringing pointy boobs onto the catwalk. But this is indicative of a poor economy:

“Throughout the last century the trend for feminine pointy shaped bras experienced a renaissance following times of a toughened economy, marking a return of unabashed femininity as women seek to have more fun with fashion as a form of escapism.”

I don’t know about most women, but I like to celebrate my femininity regardless of what my bank account is telling me. Whether you buy into the fashion trends or not, celebrating your womanly curves should be fun and this trend certainly proves that.
