Real Baby Dies As Virtual Child Grows

April 2, 2010 No Comments

A backwards, mixed-up tragedy has occurred where a South Korean couple spent hours a day raising a virtual child online while they let their real child starve to death.

They are going to be charged on April 16 and will hopefully be sentenced.

Apparently they only fed their child once a day then left her alone while they went out to internet cafes.

He said they “indulged themselves online” to escape from reality.

The couple were said to have become obsessed with nurturing a virtual girl called Anima in the popular role-playing game Prius Online.

The game enables players to interact with Anima and as they do so, help her to recover her lost memory and develop emotions.

These people clearly had mental health issues. The baby would have been better of being put in an orphanage than having to go through what she did.
