First Legal Male Sex Worker Quits Because Of Lack Of Clients

April 3, 2010 No Comments

We wrote about the first ever male brothel opening in Nevada back in January.

There was an argument about who would use these services and if it would be a worthwhile business.

It seems the first legal male sex worker has walked off the job after only two months.

They poor guy had “fewer than 10 paying customers“. What a crush to the ego!

A replacement has been hired, and if business is good the one who left may come back.

What do you think of the idea of male sex workers? Who is their clientele? Would it be a lucrative business venture? Why do you think there were fewer than 10 clients in spite of all the press this business created?

There could be a lot of stigma and fear around women using a male sex workers. Perhaps there are women who want to but are not sure how to approach the situation.

I think there’s the possibility that women prefer the escort-type service rather than the brothel-type service. That is, they would get a date for the night and maybe a boyfriend experience of some kind.

Going to a brothel where they meet other people might increase that fear or embarrassment, but meeting a man for a date, who happens to be a sex worker, would seem normal and nobody would question her.
