Oprah's New Show Just Like Old One, But At Night With More Celebrities

The Queen of Daytime is turning to the dark side
or at least late-night.
In a move that surprises no one at all, Oprah will be starring in her own show on her network, OWN.
Oprah’s Next Chapter will showcase the chat goddess interviewing people from all around the world.
Sadly, the first interview will be with John Edward’s mistress, Rielle Hunter.
“I’m going to take viewers with me, going to take celebrities I want to interview with me” around the world, Winfrey said.
The daytime talk show ends next year, after a 25 year run. The new show will air in the evenings and is expected to debut in 2011 as well.
Her influence as a lifestyle guru/cult leader will probably wane once she hits cable, but that is not entirely a bad thing. She was beginning to go the way of Martha, who only redeemed herself in our eyes by doing time.
