Killing Gay Men With HIV Means You Can’t Enter The UK

If you are gay in Uganda you go to jail. This is outrageous, but not such a surprise; many countries have these kinds of laws.
The difference in Uganda is that they are trying to pass a law that would kill those with HIV by the death penalty.
The UK, who recently passed its equality laws, is planning on banning the MP pushing these laws in Uganda from ever entering the UK.
The bill also proposes the death penalty for those having gay sex with anyone under the age of 18, with someone disabled or what the legislation describes as “serial offenders”.
It also calls for life prison sentences for those “promoting homosexuality”, which could come to mean human rights groups or those who fail to inform on a gay couple.
There is such anti-gay prejudice in Uganda that many people even believe that “that homosexuals are ‘recruiting’ children at schools”.
What?! This is madness. It makes me so sad that there is still so much prejudice towards homosexuals around the world.
If only the could get past their fear of people different to them they could see that homosexuality of other people will not negatively impact their own lives.
The MP who is pushing these bills is a born-again Christian.
