Want To Avoid Being A Baby Daddy? Take This Pill And Call Me In 3 Months

June 28, 2010 No Comments

Most women wouldn’t trust a man to take a birth control pill.

And most men don’t want to deal with the hormonal side effects (moodiness, lower libido) of taking a pill.

These have been the most significant stumbling blocks to finding a male contraceptive.

Luckily scientists have now found a simple solution to these problems!

They haveĀ created a pill that doesn’t use hormones and only has to be taken once every three months.

It works by removing a protein in the sperm that causes fertilisation. This means that you can have as much unprotected sex as you want and your swimmers will not be able to make a baby.

Granted, they are only testing on mice at this point, but hopefully this will solve all our birth control complaints and be available in three years.

Scientists are even so positive as to say that it would be 100% effective.

I think many couples will welcome this opportunity. Anything that can equalise the relationship and reduce the side-effects of the person taking the medication, whether they be male or female, is a great idea.

Let’s just hope the humans are as welcoming to this as the mice were.
