Sex Party Might Have Good Ideas But It’s Hard To Take Them Seriously

The Sex Party in Australia is gearing up for their first federal election.
They were created in response to the conservative government and, although they have some great ideas, it can be hard to take them seriously.
Some of their proposals are great and I think should be included in all modern societies.
For example:
- reduction in internet censoring
- legalization of same-sex marriage
- a national classification scheme for adult materials
- improved sex education in schools
They are an issues party so the purpose is not to get elected so much as it is to draw attention to the issues they think are important and encourage the elected MPs to make these changes to policies.
I wish them luck on the above issues, but I’m not sure they’ll get too many votes.
When they use ploys like these presentations (below) to get attention on one hand, it’s hard to take them seriously on the other.

When a party goes to such lengths to get attention, it’s hard not to wonder if their politics are somewhat lacking.
