Should Free Abortion Be A Job Perk?

The most recent argument against Marie Stopes sexual health charity is that they offer free abortions to their employees and families.

But so what?

Yes, they do provide free abortions. But the reason for this is because ”team members, their partners and dependants will be able to access MSI’s [Marie Stopes International] core services…without charge.”

Abortion just happens to be the one of many services they can choose from. It certainly wouldn’t be fair to say all services are free to employees, except for abortions.

I think the anti-choice people are just grasping for straws and trying to invent new ways of incriminating the abortion providers.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with offering free services to staff and they know it.

I think it’s time they gave up the fight against Marie Stopes and found something better to do with their time. We all know who has won this fight.
