Oysters Can Have Herpes Too

August 12, 2010 1 Comment

Oysters are often claimed to be aphrodisiacs. Personally, I think they’re gross and I usually feel more like puking than getting it on when I am eating them.

Now scientists are telling us that there is an Oyster Herpes!

Large numbers have been dying because of this and it is probably related to global warming and changing ocean environments.

It’s sad that these animals are dying because of herpes, but don’t worry, it’s not contagious for humans so you can shuck to your heart’s content!

I would say as long as we can’t catch it, this would be fine. However, if they are dying of herpes then they are still lost as food!
