A Dating Site For The Ugly People

If you’re ugly and can’t find a date then this website is for you!
Fed up with the “lovey dovey dating sites that show perfectly pretty people walking hand in hand on a wind swept beach”, The Ugly Bug Ball (or TUBB as it cleverly calls itself) aims to bring ugly people together.
They point out the perks of dating “non-pretty” people including lower expectations on a first date, the fact that nobody will try and steal them away from you, more loyalty, and they try harder to be good in bed.
But I’ve had a look at the site and the first pictures that pop up are of perfectly average looking people. Some even good looking! Will this site just reinforce the media ideals of what attractiveness is? Will it further alienate people from mainstream culture? And will they have to branch off into the uglier and ugliest categories?
I’m pretty sure people of all degrees of prettiness use the mainstream dating sites, but this is a good idea for those who feel like they are not good enough.
If we are going to be honest we have to admit that some people are ugly and do get rejected simply because of that. And after all, everybody, ugly or not, deserves to be loved.
