Cutting Off My Lady-Like Locks

Why are men so scared of women cutting their hair?

I have had long luscious locks for most of my life and every now and then consider chopping it all off because it can be so much hassle to take care of. And on many occasions men have absolutely flipped out that I am thinking of cutting my hair.

First of all, I’m not going to do something that is ugly.Secondly, it’s just hair so it will grow back. And third, it’s my hair so you can’t do anything about it.

It seems like the main concern is that I will look like a man. I’m pretty sure that I would not get a “man” hairstyle. There are plenty of “female” hairstyles that are short and I have seen plenty of women with short hair who are gorgeous. Some even look hot with a shaved head.

So, to my panicked admirers, rest assured, regardless of the length of my hair, I’m still a woman, I’m still me, and you’d better think I’m still gorgeous.
