All About The Anti-Sexual Japanese
January 17, 2011 No CommentsYoung Japanese people don’t like sex and married couples aren’t doing it either.
A survey found that for 16 to 19-year-olds, 36.1% of men and 59% of women “had no interest or even despised sex.” And for married couples 40% of them had not had sex in the last month.
What are the reasons for this? “Reluctance after childbirth, that they could not be bothered, or that they were too tired after work.” Also there is the belief that women who have children should stop working, but there aren’t enough resources to support this behaviour. This seems to be the reason that Japan has such a low birth rate.
I have never been to Japan, so I can’t profess to know more than what I have learned from the media, but it seems to me that there is definitely a problem with sex in Japan and this proves it.
With such a workaholic culture, coupled with hypersexualized cartoons and school girls in the media, it’s no wonder couples don’t know how to have a happy sex life and just relax and enjoy each other normally.
The only way this will improve, and the Japanese government can get that increased birth rate that they so desperately want, is to stop pushing people to be such workaholics and create the infrastructure that will give people more time to relax and enjoy their family and themselves.
