CEO Caught In Child-Sex Sting
February 15, 2011 No CommentsA police child-sex sting operation has caught a health food CEO in its net.
Michael C. Gilliland, the founder of Sunflower Farmers Market, has resigned from his position as CEO after after being arrested in Phoenix on suspicion of felony child prostitution.
According to the police, Gilliland went to a hotel hoping to pay for sex with person he believed to be a young girl he met online. He has said that he is not guilty and “expects to be exonerated.”
Although the courts have been criticized for letting sports and movie starts walk on serious crimes, it is nice to know that the judicial system isn’t blinded by money. Hope he enjoys his time in jail. I hear that prisoners are really friendly to child molesters.
