Naughty Nurse Sexbots In Space

Soon lonely astronauts will have a naughty nurse sexbot to keep them company in space.
The Japanese space agency is looking into sending “humanoid” robots into space. Their function will be to tweet interesting things to those of us watching from Earth, but also to “watch the mission while astronauts are asleep, monitor their health and stress levels.”
So where does the sex come in? The report said the robots would “provide astronauts with ‘comfort and companionship’.” They would also have the ability to “converse with the astronauts” and have human-like ”facial expressions.”
It wasn’t said outright, but it sounds to me like there might be a sexual function these robots could provide. After all, trips into space are long and lonely, and as sex dolls and Real Girls technology improves this wouldn’t be too far fetched.
Of course, all joking aside, this would be an amazing feat of technology and it’s great that robots can provide health care. They are looking into this as part of a program to help care for Japan’s growing elderly population.
Japan expects this program to happen by 2013, so soon they will be going where no sexbot has gone before.
