Child Abuse Is Not Therapeutic

Steven Demink posed as a psychologist and a single dad to convince women to sexually abuse their children as part of therapy. He also convinced them that the end result would be happier children. As if!

Thankfully he got caught and is facing a sentence of fifteen years to life with a decision to be made in June.

Three women and seven children (so far) were involved with this man. The children are now safe and the women are facing various charges.

So what did the women do? They took sexually explicit pictures of their children (legally, they produced child pornography) and one woman masturbated her 8-year-old autistic son ”as a way to teach him about sex” while Demink watched on a webcam.

These are unspeakable things to do to children, especially your own children, and obviously these women must have been seriously psychologically damaged to listen to Demink in the first place. Most people would have seen trouble coming from a mile away and called the cops. I hope they can balance the justice these women should be served with the psychological problems that led them there in the first place.

And I hope these kids can get some real therapy because they will certainly need it after these experiences.
