Porn Stars Real Names And Locations Leaked
April 1, 2011 No CommentsEver wondered what your favourite porn star’s real name is? Or where she lives? Or what other names she uses? Or if you’ll ever get to meet her?
Well now you can stalk her to your heart’s content!
There has been a major breach in security at the Adult Industry Medical Healthcare Foundation (AIM) and its records since 1998 of more than 15,000 porn stars have been made public.
This includes lists of stars’ names, addresses, copies of their identification, and even maps of where they live. However, their medical records have remained private.
AIM is a California-based health centre where porn stars are required to get medical check-ups on a monthly basis to ensure they remain sexually transmitted infection free. The centre also provides a way of contact tracing should there be any diagnoses such as the HIV diagnosis in October last year.
The main problem will come for those people who were in porn when young and still finding their way in the world, but have since moved on to more “respectable” professions. They may lose their jobs. They may lose their families. It could get ugly.
The porn industry is clearly in trouble. Shooting was delayed last year while they investigated an HIV diagnosis. Companies are being fined for not using condoms. Companies may even be required to use condoms against their wishes. Feminist porn companies are redefining the industry. Well-known stars are quitting to have normal lives which will influence others to do the same. And with porn now easily available on television and made free online (by actual reputable companies) there are going to have to be changes if they want to continue to do business.
So what will the porn industry look like in five or ten years? We’ll just have to wait and see.
In the meantime, I hope this security breach is addressed, because regardless of who they are or what they do or if you agree with their chosen profession, nobody deserves to have their private information made public like this. AIM should be fined for this and pay the price.
