Lesbians Taking Over The World

Hordes of women are having abortions to achieve a level playing field with their lesbian sisters, Pat Robertson ranted recently.

The television evangelist and ex-Baptist minister said married women were “aborting their babies” so they could catch up to homosexual women in the career world, and so lesbians wouldn’t be forced to feel bad about their “deficiency.”

That’s a significant commitment to political correctness.

He also said certain politicians supported abortion because it made heterosexual women more like homosexual women.

What Robertson seems to have overlooked is that lesbians too are born with functioning uteri and sometimes have babies of their own.

For decades poor Pat has been obsessed with what he considers the unbridled success of homosexuals everywhere.

In 1999 he claimed :

• In Europe, the big word is tolerance. You tolerate everything. Homosexuals are riding high in the media… And in Scotland you can’t believe how strong the homosexuals are.

Lesbians and feminists upset him too:

• The feminist agenda is not about equal rights for women. It is about a socialist, anti-family political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism and become lesbians.

While Robertson’s comments are confronting we mustn’t allow the lunatic fringe to become a basis for our understanding of the Christian right. Let’s keep in mind that Robertson is a media mogul employed to provoke controversy, and does not serve officially for any church.

All I can say is that he must have been confronted by some pretty powerful sapphic sisters lately.

This is the first I’ve heard of lesbians monopolizing roles in government, industry, social policy and the economy.

With this revelation, straight women all over town are surely losing sleep.
