Are Jodhpurs Next On The It List?

Everything Kate Middleton wears becomes an instant fashion necessity but I have to wonder how far this monarchy madness will go.
With all eyes on her it seems that every item of clothing that touches her body sells out in minutes, from cocktail dresses to blazers. But you’ve got to wonder how this will shape fashion. Most of our lives involve nothing like the Duchess’s duties — a frock to the office might be a little strange but if you start wearing one of those royal hats you’ll probably be committed.
So I have to wonder, are jodhpurs next on the list? Could be, considering the royal fascination for all things horsie. No doubt next spring Sloane Square will be filled with ambitious young brides-to-be sporting their equestrian clothing (Boots and riding crops? I’m beginning to see how this could attract a guy).
No doubt once Prince Harry is safely married off this equestrian obsession will slowly fade, but until then, giddy-up!
