Sex Dreams About The Office Can Pay Off
July 14, 2011 No CommentsThey say, “don’t judge a book by its cover.” In that same logic, don’t judge a dream’s content at face value.
To a certain extent, you probably already know not to do that. But when you have a steamy dream about a co-worker or a boss, it’s hard not believe that it simply means you are attracted to them. Dreams are supposed to be an expression of our subconscious and sexual thoughts are the ones we repress the most; putting two and two together seems easy enough, no?
Well, sex dreams often aren’t actually about the sex part but rather about the setting around them.
“Dreams are a conversation with the self,” Lauri Loewenberg, a dream analyst, explains. During sleep, “We are left with our deepest, most insightful and brutally honest thoughts.”
That might mean that the dream where you got hot and heavy with that awful guy from accounting is actually revealing to you an important quality about that co-worker you dismissed until then. Pay attention to the hidden messages; they could actually guide you through your career moves to personal fulfillment.
“Nothing in a dream is random,” Loewenberg says.
But don’t get too caught in dream analysis. If there is someone you find super cute in your department and you have wet dreams about them, I’m no dream expert but, you should probably ask them out.
