Marilyn Monroe Was No Sex Tape Starlet

When is a 60 year old sex tape worth half a million bucks? When its stars are six feet under.
Poor Marilyn Monroe. She’s been dead for almost 50 years, but her body is still being used to make someone else money. She will forever be remembered as the most stunning, vibrant, and sexy woman to ever walk the planet. So, naturally, mixing a star like that with our sex-obsessed world of today could only lead to one thing: A Marilyn Monroe sex tape.
This is not the first attempted Monroe tape release, but still a notable example of the money hungry pigs we share a planet with. A Spanish collector plans to sell a 6 minute tape of an *alleged* Monroe engaging in sex, but not as her famous Marilyn Monroe title. Don’t worry, though. Marilyn’s memory will still be saved from harm in thanks to an expert on the starlet and his knowledge of her dimensions.
Scott Fortner says the lips, chin and cheeks are not the same and the woman in the film is far too heavy and not feminine enough to be Marilyn. So there. But this is only one of many films and images linked to Monroe, with the debate still out on the truth.
Whether the videos are Marilyn or not, this drama only proves what we already know: sex sells, even beyond the grave. Unlike the starlets of today who know what could happen when they mix sex and a video camera, Monroe lived before the invention of the leaked sex tape. Whoever is on that tape probably intended it to be private and not antique porn.
Monroe spent her life trying to wrest some privacy from her public persona, but the type of people engaging in this sort of thing could care less. Women are only pieces to their money-making puzzle.
I’m sorry, Marilyn. Welcome to 2011.
