Gotta love semantics. A recent poll has revealed that while a whopping 58% of Americans are cool with gay men and lesbians serving openly in the military, only 44% are okay with homosexuals doing so. Apparently there is an increasing trend in lesbianism in UAE schools and parents and counsellors are working hard to try to tackle the issue. I know I should be used to this by now, but the UAE continues to astound me with how backward it is around sexuality and how discriminatory and ostracising the society ...
