Another medical group has said that women should not have the right to home birth in certain circumstances. There is so much condescension among doctors towards pregnant women I have to wonder where it will all end. Will they be caged like animals and monitored by nicotine and alcohol bracelets like criminals? The Lancet, a ...

She’s wearing a short skirt, she got drunk and went back to his place. Is she asking for it? Not Ever, according to a new Scottish public awareness campaign. The ads are aimed not at rapists, but at normal men who laugh at rape jokes. One (male) commentator said that when it aired: “the laughter ...

Animal lovers want recognition. And I’m not talking about people who love their pets, these are people who want sexual attraction to animals to be recognised as a legitimate sexual orientation.

There is a trial going on in the UK about an eight-year-old girl who claimed to be raped by two ten-year-old boys. When I first heard about it I was repulsed. But now I’m just confused.

Dear Madame X, I don’t understand how rape works. I’ve read reports about soldiers in Africa who are forced, at gun point, to rape women as part of their ethnic cleansing. Afterward many of them say that they didn’t want to. If they really don’t want to, how did they get it up? Also, the ...

Oklahoma has just passed two incredibly controversial laws that limit a woman’s right to freedom of choice as well as invading her privacy around abortion. Informed choice? What’s that? Who cares?! Obviously the doctors’ rights are more important than the pregnant woman who might have a disabled child for the rest of her life.

A British MP has compared gay sex to fighting on the front lines of a war (as in life-threatening). The leader of his party is being urged to sack the homophobic naysayer. I’m not sure if that’s right, but this certainly needs to be addressed.

A Belgian man has walked free after raping his daughter in his sleep. Because there was no evidence he was awake, there was a reasonable doubt he was asleep and not in control of his actions. What a shame the courts ignored common sense and instead relied on the testimony of paid experts to understand ...

You’re lying there unconscious. Without your consent a guy slides something inside of you to get a better look. Rape? Nope. Merely a teaching exercise for medical students to learn about pelvic exams.

Wanting to have group sex in certain (consensual) situations tarnishes a woman’s credibility. A British woman was allegedly raped and the judge thought “her credibility was shot to pieces” after her online chats praising group sex. She was obviously a dirty lying whore who deserved to be gang raped.
