The feminist movement has allowed women to achieve any and all of their dreams, including being both a soldier and a beauty queen. Lance Corporal Katrina Hodge has become Miss England and after the Miss World 2009 Festival L/Cl Hodge will go on to serve in Afghanistan next year.
