Forget talent or brains, it is looks that get people ahead in this world — at least in my newrsoom. I sit across from a pretty girl in the office who also happens to be a crack reporter and an ace writer. However, her assignments are solely based on what she wears to work that ...

Men have sunk into a sweat-pant swaddled life, according to Details. This kind of whiny, pathetic existence will no longer cut it, and the world needs real men to handle the drama of the 2010s. Why can’t these lad mags just let the boys be?

We blame our passive personalities. We blame our ability to have children. We blame our lack of opportunity. But the real culprits keeping women out of boardrooms are the bastards doing the hiring.

You’re lying there unconscious. Without your consent a guy slides something inside of you to get a better look. Rape? Nope. Merely a teaching exercise for medical students to learn about pelvic exams. In Canada is it common practice for surgery patients to be subjected to pelvic exams while they are still unconscious from surgery ...

I’m a bitch. I embrace the word. It means I’m strong and savvy. The thing is, this is not how a lot of people use it. A judge has ruled that “bitch” is offensive, especially when used to refer to a man. She’s right, right? The Eleventh Circuit of Appeals said about the issue: “[T]he ...

A weather-beaten eye cast over the media: HatManJim looks at a story in the headlines and as a feminist with a penis (Menimist? Femi-meni-mist? I just believe in women’s rights, I’m not having gender-reassignment. OK?), attempts to map the sexism inherent in the press, without inadvertently saying anything lecherous about breasts.

It’s about time fathers got some official recognition for their importance in the early life of their children.
